What safety measures are in place for student travel?
Safety is our top priority. All trips include professional motorcoach transportation, trained professional drivers, vetted accommodations, and the support of an Excursions Unlimited by Kelly Tours Tour Escort. We work with trusted vendors and follow strict safety protocols on every student trip.
Can student trips be customized for my class or organization?
Yes—our student trips can be tailored to match your curriculum, interests, schedule, and budget. Whether you’re planning a day trip or a multi-day experience, our team works directly with educators to design a trip that supports learning objectives.
What is included in a typical student travel package?
All student travel packages include round-trip motorcoach transportation, complimentary onboard drinks and snacks, attraction admissions, educational activities, meals, and overnight accommodations for multi-day trips with the support of an Excursions Unlimited by Kelly Tours Tour Escort. Optional additions such as Kelly Tours T-Shirts and overnight hotel security are available upon request. Each itinerary clearly outlines all included features.
Are chaperones required?
Yes—chaperones are required for all student trips. Kelly Tours typically follows a 1:10 chaperone-to-student ratio, ensuring appropriate supervision throughout the experience. We work with each school or organization to confirm the most suitable chaperone ratios and specific needs for their group.
How far in advance should a student trip be booked?
We recommend planning several months in advance, especially for peak travel seasons, performance trips, and school-year dates that fill quickly. Early planning ensures availability and allows families time to prepare.
Do you offer payment plans for student trips?
Yes—many student trips allow families to make payments over time. Schools and organizations may also coordinate fundraising programs to help offset costs. Payment details are provided during trip registration.
What is the Student Travel cancellation policy?
All payments listed on the printed flyer marked as non-refundable will be non-refundable should a traveler cancel for ANY REASON. All other payments will be refunded through Kelly Tours. Written notice must be sent to notify Kelly Tours of cancellation to kellytours@kellytours.com with the subject line “Cancellation”. The notice must include the traveler’s name, the primary contact’s name, telephone number, email, and mailing address, group name, and trip number. The refund will then be mailed out or credited back to the credit card used to make the payment. Please allow up to two weeks after the cancellation notice is received for the refund to be processed.
