Below you’ll find the answers to some of the most frequently asked questions about our adult travel packages. Simply click on the question you would like to see the answer to.

How do I book a trip with Kelly Tours?

OPTION #1 BOOK ONLINE Click on the “Book Now” link on each trip’s corresponding page. This will redirect you to the booking section of our Secure Online Payment Portal.

 

OPTION #2 Call with your request and include your first and last name, address, telephone number, the name of your roommate, and your e-mail address. Our office will mail an invoice requesting your deposit, or you may choose to give the reservationist your credit card information over the phone.

 

OPTION #3 Mail in your payment to: Kelly Tours, 2788 Highway 80, Savannah, Georgia 31408. Be sure to include the trip number, your phone number and the name of your roommate.

How do I make a reservation?

Reservations will be accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis. DEPOSITS are required to confirm your reservation.

$100 – $999 trip price, deposit amount $100.00

$1000 – $4999 trip price, deposit amount $300.00

For a cruise trip $300.00 deposit

Air transportation $500.00 deposit

Day trips are to be paid in full.

When are final payments due?
Final payment is due 45 days prior to trip departure date unless otherwise noted.
What is included in the tour price?
Tour prices include:
  • Hotel accomodations for each night of the tour's itinerary
  • Round-trip transportation
  • All admissions and tours as listed
  • Tour director
  • Cancellation/interruption insurance for trips that cost more than $500
  • Baggage handling
  • Meals listed by B-breakfast, L-Lunch, D-Dinner (including meal gratuities)
Tour price does not include:
  • Meals not listed as (B, L, or D)
  • Souvenirs
  • Gratuity for the driver and/or escort (we suggest $2-3/per person/per day for the driver and $2-3/per person/per day for the escort)
Do I need a passport?
Passports are required for all cruises and international trips including Canada.
When do I receive the detailed final information for my trip and what information will it include?
Final information will be mailed to each traveler after the final payment has been received.  The final information packet will include:
  • Departure points and times
  • Hotel phone numbers
  • Luggage tags
  • What to bring
  • An updated itinerary
How much luggage can I bring?
Luggage service on overnight tours is limited to one large bag per person. You may also bring a small carry-on for which you are responsible. Remember not to overpack. Trips involving air travel will require payment for luggage at the airport on certain airlines (at this time, count on $25 per bag each way). The luggage must weigh less than 50lbs, or the airlines will impose an overweight fee.
What is your cancellation policy?
  • Day trip payments are transferable, but non-refundable.
  • On multi-day trips less than $499, no cancellation penalty if a trip is cancelled 45 days prior to departure. A $100 cancellation fee will be charged if cancellation occurs inside of 45 – 4 days before the trip date, and $200 if the trip is cancelled within three days of the trip.
  • For trips $500 or more, all payments are non-refundable. These trips include the Travel Insured policy which covers many reasons for cancellation. Should you have to cancel for one of the COVERED reasons, The Travel Insured policy will cover your expenses/payments as described in the policy. CLICK HERE to see the policy details.
Where are the departure points and can I leave my car there during the trip?
Unless otherwise specified, our motor coach tours will depart from two major points located in Chatham County.
  • As the official group travel company of St. Joseph/Candler Health System’s SmartSenior Travel Club we have permission for our travelers to park and be picked-up across from the main entrance to Candler Hospital off Reynolds Street next to the new J.C. Lewis Pavilion.
  • Kelly Tours office located on Hwy 80 in Garden City between Chatham Parkway and Dean Forest Road. Lighted parking is available to park your vehicle while traveling with Kelly Tours.
Contact Kelly Tours if you live along the route of the tour and we will pick you up along the way when able. For groups of 10 or more, Kelly Tours will pick you up in your hometown. These options require planning and Kelly Tours must approve additional pick-ups at least 30 days prior to the departure date.

Tours involving flying to a destination will require the traveler to meet at the airport.

Will my trip vary from the itinerary?
Kelly Tours reserves the right to alter or vary a trip's itinerary to insure that quality standards are provided. This would only happen in an exceptional situation and an equal replacement will be substituted for any alterations.
I have already paid a deposit, how do I make my next payment?
When you log into your account all of the trips that you have made payment on will be displayed showing how much you have paid and your balance. Find the particular tour you want to make payment on and click. You will be directed to the credit card screen.
I missed the deposit date, can I still sign up for the trip?
All tours are based on a first come first serve basis. On most tours if space is available you can still sign up after the deposit date with the exception of tours involving air and in this case you would need to call our office. If payment is received after the final payment date it will be at the discretion of Kelly Tours, the group leader/school if the student can be added.
What is the cancellation policy on your student tours?
Should a traveler have to cancel for any reason the deposit as listed on the flyer is non-refundable. Written notice must be sent to Kelly Tours of the cancellation and the refund will be mailed out. Refunds are processed once a month at the end of the month.
